PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS WITH GLOBAL IMPACT

At HBS America, our students complete 2,000 hours of professional internships at internationally renowned hotels.

Starting in their third semester, they gain hands-on experience in key operational areas such as culinary arts, food and beverage service, and room division. By the sixth semester, they transition into strategic roles in marketing, finance, and training management.

We combine academic theory with real-world experience to shape leaders ready to excel in the global hospitality industry.

What is the duration of the degree?

Our bachelor’s degree program spans four years and is divided into eight semesters.

Will I receive an official degree upon completion?

Yes. Upon completing the program and fulfilling all academic requirements, you will receive an official degree recognized by the SEP (Secretariat of Public Education) with the title Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management.

Does the degree include professional internships?

Yes, the Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management includes mandatory professional internships as a key component of the program.

From the first year, students participate in hands-on experiences in real hotel operations, and throughout the degree, they must complete at least two internship periods:

  • 6 months in Operations (e.g., kitchen, service, front desk, or housekeeping)
  • 6 months in Administration (e.g., marketing, finance, human resources, events, or business development)

These internships can be carried out in hotels, restaurants, and international companies with which we have agreements.
